Linton Fire Department Union Local 3087

Proud Member Of The I.A.F.F

                 The Linton Fire Department has had a long history of being a member of the IAFF. In June of 1962 the fire department was local 1436. The chartered members of that union were Jack Allen, John James, Richard Goodson, James A. Smith, Richard Lutz, Chester B. Weaver, Paul Gaither, James Shubla, Henry Mercier. In 1987 the local was changed to local 3087 as it is known now.

                                  Union Local 3087 has fund raisers throughout the year to support community programs such as youth soccer program, local scholarship program, support for fire prevention programs, and various other community related programs.
